RETURNS POLICY
Please purchase wisely, as we do not issue cash refunds and will accept returns of goods only when they meet the following criteria:
- They were purchased at the A. L. THOMPSON’S store to which you are returning them.
- They were purchased within the last 30 calendar days.
- They are accompanied by an original sales receipt.
- They are in their original packaging in as-sold condition.
- They are not among the goods listed below as NONRETURNABLE.
- Their return is approved by a store manager
RESTOCKING FEES
If you return the goods directly to the store, we will charge a restocking fee
of 10% of the full retail price.
If we must pick up the goods from your site, we will charge a restocking fee of 20% of the full retail price.
NONRETURNABLE goods include
If you paid by check for the returned item, we will issue a credit only after the check has cleared the bank (up to 10 days), less the restocking fee, in the form of a Gift Card*.
*Gift Card: Value of purchase or credit. Valid for 24 months.
If we must pick up the goods from your site, we will charge a restocking fee of 20% of the full retail price.
NONRETURNABLE goods include
- Gift Cards
- Fuses
- Batteries
- Mixed paint/coatings
- Hurricane supplies
- Electronic switches
- Ballasts
- Special-order items
- Custom-cut items
- Special-price/sale items
- Used goods
- Other items at the discretion of management
REFUND METHODS
If you paid by cash, debit card, or credit card for the returned item, we will issue a credit, less the restocking fee, in the form of a Gift Card*.If you paid by check for the returned item, we will issue a credit only after the check has cleared the bank (up to 10 days), less the restocking fee, in the form of a Gift Card*.
